Six Steps & Six Minutes to One Perfect Gift
The days of generic gifting are gone for good. đ·
Now it is possible to send a unique wine gift that can be personalized for any occasion or any person in your life and have it created and ordered in six steps in as little as six minutes.
Six minutes, people. Six minutes. How can you beat that? You canât.
Here are the six steps to creating and ordering the gift that will stand out from the crowd and make you the gifting hero:
- Step 1: Choose your wine
- Step 2: Choose label or engraving
- Step 3: Create the messaging or label
- Step 4: Setup shipping
- Step 5: Enter your payment info
- Step 6: Review order
Step 1: Choose your wine đ·
Navigate to the Personal Wine homepage at personalwine.com.
Click "Wine" at the top left of the homepage to get started.
To start, the wines are listed from the lowest to the highest price. Feel free to filter the wine list so that you can quickly narrow down your search.
We have a huge array of wine to choose from, but donât get bogged down here!
Design Tip: To make your selection even easier, think about the preferences of the person youâre buying for and what wines you know they enjoy. Then select one of those four categories of wine and shop within it, keeping the personal preferences â and your personal price point â in mind.
Step 2: Choose label or engraving
Most of our wine bottles have the option to be engraved with a personal message or designed with a personal label.
The label is created for you at no additional charge, but there is an additional charge for engraving.
Step 3: Create the message or label
Engraving
Choose from a pre-designed template to personalize, or write your own message from scratch.
We have dozens of pre-designed templates to choose from, depending on the occasion that youâre celebrating. Simply plug in the required personal information (name and possibly a date) once you have the engraving template chosen.
Design Tip: If you're writing your own message, you'll need to pick the font you like and then type in the message itself. Once you have it entered in, you can size it properly.
Label
As with the engraving, youâll need to decide if you want to create your label from scratch or work with one of our numerous pre-designed templates. We have templates for just about any occasion you can imagine.
Designing your own label is the only part of our process that could potentially add time to your six-minute creation clock. Thatâs because it might take you a few extra minutes to align everything the way that you want and make sure that you have any image set right and designed the way that you want it.
Step 4: Setup shipping
You can create a login ID to save your profile for future purchases or complete your shopping as a guest.
Either way, youâll need to enter in your shipping address and select the speed at which you want the item shipped. There is a basic standard shipping option, and then two expedited forms of shipping. Choose the one that best fits your desired delivery date.
Step 5: Enter your payment info
We take all major credit cards. Enter in the one you want to use, and then enter in a separate billing address if itâs different the location to which you are shipping the bottle of wine.
You're so close!
Step 6: Review and order
Youâll be given one more chance to take a look at your personalized wine bottle to make sure that everything is spelled right and looks the way that you want it to look. You can also verify the shipping and billing addresses, as well as the final charge. Once youâve made sure everything is right, click âPlace Orderâ and your order will be sent.
And just like that, you are done. Finished. Finito. You can get right back to your life and be assured that your wine bottle is being processed and will be ready to go very soon!
